I solve problem with priority sort. Patched version - http://jenyay.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/outlook-tasks-patched.gg.

Error was that field "Priority" is no. There is a field "importance".

Ben,

I am looking for a Google Gadget that displays upcoming birthdays from outlook. Sort of like http://www.jarig.org/

Have not been able to find it and think it might be very easy for you to make as it resembles your outlook tasks gadget.

People would love it (I would anyway ;-))

Regards,

Jochem

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the gadget.

Just to echo the post above, I would like to filter by uncompleted tasks so that completed ones disappear. can you tell me the correct syntax for doing so please.

Also, as other people have said, it would be great if the tasks could be sorted by category. If that's not possible, a quick click to only show tasks in a particular category would be a good variation.

Also I have no scroll bars, either horizontal or vertical, both of which would be handy.

Hi Ben,

I would really like to use this at work, but I need to be able to filter just work items to display. All of my work items are tagged as @Work.

So Far I've tried:

[Class] = '@Work'
[Class] = "@Work"
Class = @Work
Class = "@Work"

Etc... you get the idea. Whenever I set a filter I get the following error message:

---------------------------
Outlook Tasks
---------------------------
Failed to fetch tasks from Outlook
Please check your folder and filter settings
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

What is the correct syntax for creating a filter?

Thanks,
-Rick

Failed to find Outlook on your system
or failed opening the Outlook MAPI namespace

This gadget requires Microsoft Outlook to be installed

Apparently, sorting by priority fails. If I put it on either sort field, the list returns blank.

I'm using:
Google Desktop 5.7.0805.16405-en-pb
Outlook 2007
Windows XP SP2

Thanks for this wonderful tool!

Thanks for the great gadget! I am trying to use this on my Google Apps Start Page. It shows the events with no problem, but I would like to edit the settings to filter only events this week. When I try to edit settings, I get the message "Failed to find Outlook on your system or failed opening the Outlook MAPI namespace. This gadget requires Microsoft Outlook to be installed." I have Microsoft Outlook 2007 running, and the program obviously detects the program because it is pulling out the tasks. Any advice? Thanks!
